The Epstein Files Transparency Act required the Justice Department to publish its
Epstein files by December 19, 2025. DOJ missed the deadline, is withholding records, and has not
published the redaction log the law requires. A federal court has found its justifications
non-compliant. Congress can enforce its own law — if constituents ask.
